Paul Erdos was a brilliant Hungarian mathematician, who published many groundbreaking mathematical papers.
He travelled often without money, home, and dedicated himself fully to the life of science.
The **Erdos number** between a person and mathematician Paul Erdos, as measured by authorship of mathematical papers.
My Erdos number happens to be three (Aleksandr Yampolskiy → Yevgeniy Dodis → Joel Spencer → Paul Erdos ).

In my former life, I was a professional chessplayer and competed in many tournaments.
